How far do you travel for weddings/shoots? Anywhere! Deux Maries Photography loves destination weddings and anywhere in between.

Does it cost extra to have the images edited? You will receive touched up images of your session/event. Deux Maries Photography offers 5 free edits engagement/senior/dance/tween sessions and up to 30 free edits for weddings. Any additional edits or requests will require a charge.

Do you take engagement photos? Yes!

Do you do hair and makeup? We can work with local H&MU artists around the area or you may bring your own.

Do you take newborn photos? Unfortunately, No. Newborn photography is an art form in itself and we do not offer newborn photo shoots at this time.

Do you take family or children's portraits? Yes! Just give us a shout to get more information.

Do you offer professional retouching services of blemishes? Yes!

Do you offer albums/prints in any of your packages? Yes! We would love to help you create an album to capture your favorite memories as well as printed images.

Can I see an example of your albums/prints? Absolutely. Just set up a post event consultation and examples can be shown.

What can I expect to spend on my wedding package? Packages start at $1800, however we can work with any budget/request.

What if my family/friends would like to order the images online? Is there a website they go to? Yes. A link can be provided to you that you can share with friends. Prints and canvases may be ordered from the website.

What is the first look? A first look is a moment staged and set up by a wedding photographer for the bride and groom to see each other before the ceremony. Normally, bride and groom would agree with your wedding photographer on site away from family and friends to give them privacy and to make that moment just for them.

Do you make all your couples have the first look, or is it optional? Its completely optional.

How much time is typically needed to shoot a wedding? It totally depends on what your needs are, but it ranges from 4 hours to 16 hours. We recommend 8-10 hours to ensure you get the most important moments captured, but again, its up to your priorities.

Will you come for the rehearsal dinner? Absolutely! Just make sure to include it in the request as it is not automatically part of a package.

How many photographers come with you on the wedding day? 1-3, depending on the package you select.

Do you bring any assistants? Yes.

Do you have backup equipment? Absolutely. I always will have at least two cameras, multiple lenses, SD cards and more.

What do you wear to your weddings? Usually all black with black tennis shoes unless on the beach or tropical locations, then something lighter colored.

Will my images be posted on social networking sites? Yes. If you choose to not have your images posted, a fee will occur due to lost marketing materials.

Is an engagement session included in any of your packages? Yes!

If I don’t want something in a package, can you remove it from the package? You are more than welcome to exchange it for something of less than or equal value.

What forms of payment do you accept? Cash, Credit/Debit Card, PayPal, Money Orders, Personal checks if paid at least 40 days prior to final payment

How much is the retainer? A non-refundable retainer of 20% is due at time of booking. This is required for all session bookings.

When is the remaining amount due for the wedding? 40 days prior to the wedding date.

Do you offer a “pay in full” discount? Yes, we offer this for wedding packages. We offer a 10%  discount off your total session package when paid in full at time of booking.

Do you offer payment plan options? Absolutely. A non-refundable 20% retainer is due at time of booking and then the remaining is due 40 days prior to the wedding date. For all other sessions, remaining balance is due within 3 days of the photo shoot.

If we would like to have several locations for the bride/groom and bridal party photos, do you charge for each additional location on the wedding day? Not unless there are fees to use the locations and it doesn’t interfere with the timeline.

Do I have to use the wedding time coverage consecutively? Yes—consecutive for all photographers/assistants. This includes driving time to the reception locations.

How far in advance do I need to book? As early as possible!

Can we meet before I book? Absolutely! It is recommended to meet ahead of time to ensure we “click!”

How would you describe your wedding shooting style? Clean, fresh and detailed. I do not “over-edit”  and try to bring out the natural beauty of my clients and their surroundings.

How long have you been shooting weddings? I’ve been shooting weddings for about 2 years! I have also second shot for several top photographers in Atlanta for over 3 years.

Do you use flash for any of your photography? Yes—on and off camera.

Are you a member of any professional photographer organizations? Yes! PPA (Professional Photographers Association)

What happens if my wedding gets canceled or I need to change the date after I’ve booked? We will try to work with you as best as possible, however we can not guarantee the new date will be available. As stated in your contract, the 40% retainer is not refundable for canceled or rescheduled dates.

Do you offer annual anniversary sessions? Yes!

Can you hold my date without a deposit? No, a date will not be held unless the retainer is paid and the contract is reviewed and signed.

How long does it take to receive my photos? Typically, 6-8 weeks after a wedding, and up to 3 weeks for all other sessions.

How many photos should I expect? We average 30-50 per hour of shooting for weddings. All other sessions depend on package purchased.

Do you offer videography? Not at this time.

Do you offer slideshow presentations at the reception? Yes! Additional fees required.

Do you offer live photo booths? Yes!

Do you offer save the date/thank you cards/graduation cards? Yes!

How many events do you typically shoot on a wedding day? When you pay the 20% retainer, that day is booked completely to you.

What will you do if something happens to my wedding photos? We go above and beyond to ensure the security of your photos. In the event of loss/damage to an SD card or photos, compensation will be made by partial refunds/additional prints, up to the cost of your paid package.

Do you shoot with film or digital? Digital

Do you give anything for referrals? Yes! We love referrals and are so grateful for the word of mouth. For every referral that books a shoot with Deux Maries Photography, you will receive $50 in print credits. Make sure they let me know you referred them!

Can I rate you on social media? Absolutely! And we would appreciate it so much, that for every 5 star rating you give (Facebook, Google, Yelp, Wedding Wire, etc.) you will receive a professionally printed 8x10 photo of your choice! This is valid for 1 year after your event.
